In an effort to help reduce the spread of the Covid-19, Abraham Shashoua, MD, is now accepting new patient consultations and second opinion consultations by telemedicine and video conferencing. All consults will be done via our HIPAA compliant video platform Zoom. Video visits allow patients to connect face-to-face in real time without leaving their home. Patients can use a smartphone, tablet or computer. Consultations can be scheduled during the weekdays or during the weekends and evenings.
Step 1: Request Your Appointment

Do you have insurance? Have you checked to see that we are in network? Dr. Shashoua participates in many health insurance plans. For a current listing of all plans , please contact the office.
If you do not have medical insurance, you will be registered as a Self-Pay patient. It is hard to give exact costs prior to seeing a specialist. Are average cost for an initial virtual consultation is $175
Step 2: Send Your Medical Records
- Medical records results such as previous treatments and surgeries, pap smear results, hormone testing, imaging results.

Step 3: Receive Your Appointment Confirmation
Your patient service coordinator will confirm your appointment once Dr. Shashoua has reviewed your records and has determined the best course of action. We’ll send you an email with the time and date, and other important information you need to know before the Zoom meeting.
